I'm an experienced charity leader having worked in the not-for-profit sector for my whole career.
I'm the founder of Rebuild Britain, a new project aiming to build a fairer, more cohesive Britain. Through the new project, I provide consultancy, research and mentoring to charities and not-for-profits working in education, anti-extremism, anti-racism, community cohesion, identity and inclusion and run my own original projects and campaigns, including supporting schools to explore British values and citizenship with students. Visit rebuildbritain.uk or britishvaluesproject.uk to find out more.
I was previously Managing Director of the Holocaust Educational Trust and Chief Executive of the PSHE Association, where I led the successful campaign for life skills education to become a statutory expectation for schools in England. I was also a founding director and chair of the award-winning North London Cares and have been a volunteer mentor for the last 16 years.
I am an advisor to a number of charities and not-for-profits, including Freedom Charity, which works to end abusive practices such as Forced Marriage and Virginity Testing, and I am on the Advisory Board of White Stork Consultancy. I'm also an advisor to my local football team, Camden and Islington United.
